Noise Policies

Please be considerate of neighbors. Outdoor music is fine until 9:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

Quiet hours: Sunday to Thursday are 9:00 PM- 8:00 AM and Friday to Saturday are 10:00 PM- 8:00 AM.

Smoking and Pet Policies

No smoking or vaping inside the house, including the game room. You may smoke outdoors; please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Pets are not allowed due to allergies.

Visitor Policies

Guests are welcome to have visitors with prior approval (further restrictions apply: no overnight, number of visitors and during Festivals). Please message us and provide the full names and visit times so we can add them to the gate list.

Parking Policies

• Day parking on the street is allowed.
• Overnight parking on the street is not allowed unless a Safe Pass has been requested and issued from the HOA which needs to be picked up daily from guard gate. Please request Safe Pass from management as there are a very limited number of Safe Passes.
• Only approved vehicles with a displayed pass may park overnight.
• No commercial vehicles, RVs, vans or vehicles allowed, no vehicles with logos are allowed in driveways or streets.

Deliveries

Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Instacart deliveries are welcome!

Simply provide the address 84343 Onda Drive, Indio for gate access.

Lake Rules - Important

Enjoy scenic walks around the Lake. However, no swimming, wading, fishing, touching or using the lake is allowed. The lake is a non-contact body of water. The HOA will assess a fine which will be the responsibility of the contracting guest.

Helpful Reminders

• Please do not adjust router, TV input wiring, or home automation devices, see Troubleshooting page for resolving common issues.
• Trash bins: curbside collection on Tuesdays. Please put trash in bins. No need for guests to take trash bins to the curb.
• Keep all windows, doors and sliders locked when leaving the property.
• Report any maintenance issues right away through OTA messaging.

How to Access the Property

Enter through the front door using the code provided. The keypad is located on the door above the key lock. Touch the pad to activate,, and enter code and check mark symbol to open.

Please check out by 10:00 AM.

Cleaning Up

• Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it (pods are under sink)
• Please gather all used towels in one pile
• Please put trash in outside bins before checkout
• Please move everything back to its original space
• Turn off all lights, appliances and TVs
• Set both upstairs and downstairs Ecobees to 85 degrees Fahrenheit

Appliance Instructions

How to Use Kitchen Appliances

• Refrigerator: Filtered Water & Ice Dispense from left door panel. Fridge & Freezer are set at ideal temps.
• Double Oven: Both traditional and convection.
• Microwave Oven: Do not use metal containers or foil
• Gas Stove: Push and turn knob to ignite. Griddle attachment included. Always ensure all knobs are in OFF position after cooking.
• Dishwasher: Choose desired cycle and press Start. ALWAYS run the garbage disposal before starting dishwasher.

Heating/Cooling System Instructions

Ecobee Thermostats are located downstairs and upstairs (opposite stair case). To adjust temperature tap the touchscreen to wake it up, use the arrow buttons to adjust the temperature. At checkout please set both to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Washer/Dryer Instructions

LG Washer & Dryer have multiple cycles and settings for your desired needs. Detergent & fabric sheets are located in laundry room.

Electronics Instructions

Light Switches & Ceiling Fans

Switches throughout house are labeled for ease of use. Ceiling fans are controlled either by wall switches or remote control in primary suite. Please turn off lights and fans before checkout.

TV’s & Entertainment

• Samsung Smart TV with DirecTV (Living Room, Primary and Game Room): Turn on TV & DirecTV box using DirecTV remote. If not on DirecTV, use the Input button to go to the correct HDMI port. Access DirecTV guide with the Guide button on the DirecTV remote. For streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) press the Home button then go to My Apps..
• Vizio TV’s: Turn on TV with the Vizio remote and navigate to your desired show or streaming app.
• Roku Smart TVs: Turn on TV with the Roku remote and navigate. Sign in to your own streaming accounts if desired.
• Log out of all streaming apps before checkout for privacy.

HP 7855 - Smart Printer

Connect to Wi-Fi. Download the HP Smart App on your phone or laptop. Follow the prompts to print, scan or copy. If unsure, please contact management before adjusting.

Outdoor Instructions

Pool & Spa Controller

• The Spa and lighting controls are on wall outside by the fire pit:
  Select 1 to turn on spa mode (press once) and
  Select 2 to heat the spa (press once and wait a few minutes)
  Select 3 to turn on spa and shelf lights (optional)
  Select 4 to turn on the pool lights (optional).

• To turn on spa jets, turn on the separate timer switch on the wall by the fire pit.
• The spa is complimentary for up to 3 hours per day. If you would like additional hours, please contact management to arrange additional time.
• Pool heating is available for an additional daily fee. Please contact management to enable heating.

Fire Pit Instructions

• The controls are in the silver wall cabinet outside the door to game room and next to pool equipment.
• Open cabinet (push) and turn on the timer to your desired duration.
• At Fire Pit, turn the flame control knob ON. Press the ignitor button or use the long lighter (kept near BBQ or in kitchen).
• Please turn off after use.

BBQ Instructions

Open cabinet below BBQ and turn on timer. Turn yellow valve (parallel with pipe). On BBQ, turn knobs to enable lighter and turn on flame. When done, turn all knobs to OFF and turn off yellow valve.

Safety Information

Emergency Exits

Main exit is the front door. Secondary exit is the slider door to backyard. Third exit is door to game room to door outside.

First Aid Kit Location

First aid kits are located in drawer next to slider to backyard. Fire blanket also located in drawer next to slider.

Fire Extinguisher Location

Fire extinguishers are located throughout the house including: Upstairs in hallway, downstairs in kitchen and laundry room. Always call 911 in the event of fire.

Door Alarms

Slider to backyard and Laundry room door to game room both have door alarms and can be set to OFF, BEEP, or ALARM when opened.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and how to resolve them

Wi-Fi: If the connection is slow or not responding, restart the router by disconnecting the power cable and reconnecting after 30 seconds. It may take up to 5 minutes to reset Wi-Fi. The eero router is located in the living room below the TV in center cabinet behind the black screen with pull tabs on bottom (see red arrow below).

Air Conditioning and Heating: There are two ecobee smart thermostat controllers opposite the stairs (down stairs and up stairs). Ensure that the ecobee is set to the desired temperature and set to the desired mode, either cool or heat mode.
